LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES s and Price Sallee supervised the transfer of six head from Keeneland to Churchill Downs. t They are Macawlee, Flip Flap, Master Beau and China Gal, property of Thomas Piatt; Byrdine, owned by T. C. Piatt, and Dr. C. E. Hagyards Dark Feather. The entire stable of A. C. Van Winkle, in charge of Keene Daingerfield, is expected daily from River Downs. The unit includes . Gene Wagers, an eligible for the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes; Glint, Hiddenite, Free . Forester, Dulcimer and Up to Snuff. Stalls were bedded down for three head I H. H. Briner is shipping from River Downs. ! J. M. Goode unloaded a string of eight, property of J. W. Parrish, Midway banker 1 sportsman, from Lexington. They included Dellor, a candidate for the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes and a winner at Keeneland, and Entree, Proph, Perlette, Sir Isaac and Southern Miss. Before leaving Keeneland Goode I sent Parrish Roach to the Parrish farm. 1 Upon arrival here the elder Goode was I joined by his son Jack, who had been here for some time breaking the Parrish yearlings and also had two seasoned campaigners in charge. I Another small unit expected from River Downs is that of W. E. Nutter. Great Meadows and Midlanda are the horses Nutter is bringing. S. P. Beck brought in five head the prop-I erty of Hopeful Farm, noni de course of I S. P. Beck, Florence, Ky., sportsman. I The horses which J. C. Gillem will trans- fer for varied interests include Red Raider, 1 Joeno, Co-Op, Nowana, King Carl, Golden Ariel, Buddy Miller and Ona Boy. Gillem I had been at Keeneland. 1 Evergold, fleet handicap star which has been on the shelf for months, has been returned to training and was numbered among those horses transferred here for Shandon Farm Stable by Donald MacEachern. Oth-I crs were Quincy, which finished second in i the Lexington at Keeneland; Happy Road, I Miss Twinkle and My Elsie. MacEachern I also is looking after the conditioning of Mrs. A. McKenneys Crimson. I Another entourage to arrive was that of I C. L. Croan, newly appointed racing commis-i sioner.
