1 EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES 4 Norman Tallman was appointed eastern representative for Harry Knight, the trotting horse enthusiast from Lexington, Ky., who intends to race in the East next year. Freddie Hopkins will ship the Sage Stable horses to Pimlico and then will go intc, quarters at Aiken, S. C. Charles Irby announced his intention of shipping four horses to Bay Meadows from this point. Jockey Eddie Arcaro said that he would ride out this meeting and then go to Maryland. There he will report to the Greentree Stable. George Odom said that the yearlings which he will try on Sunday are more advanced than any which came from Delhi, N. Y. Delhi is the birthplace of Top Row and Agrarian. Max Hirsch left for Laurel Park on Friday, where he will inspect the horses he has there in training.
