RIVER DOWNS FINAL PROGRAM Long Distance Races Among Chief Events of Farewell Offering. Meeting Not Financial Success but Management Plans Spring and Fall Meeting Next Year. CINCINNATI, Ohio, Oct 30. An attractive program, topped by- two handicaps and including one race at two miles and one-quarter, and two at one mile and three-quarters, features River Downs final day of autumn racing tomorrow. Although there Is no hope of the meeting being a financial success, due to weather and track conditions, general manager Edward P. Strong of the River Downs Racing Association Is pleased with the patronage extended the new. association that took over the old Coney Island plant Nothing definite has been arranged but plans call for two meetings next year, one in the spring and the other in the fall. The Farewell Handicap for three-year-olds and upward and at six furlongs brings together the best field. It offers Oddesa Farms Don Creole an opportunity of winning his second stakes and his fourth triumph of the meeting. He will carry the top impost of 119 pounds and following him in line of weights is Ike Collins Paradisical under 115 pounds. Sweep Like and Dora May will carry 110 pounds each and then comes Reminiscent under 108 pounds. It will serve as the fifth event and the fourth race, the other handicap, engages two-year-olds. Bernard F., Ike Collins good home-bred juvenile, which won two stakes at Detroit, will pack the top burden of 119 pounds. He will be called upon to concede considerable poundage for his closest opponent is Crulia, under 109 pounds. Wise Beauty, an easy winner this week, was assigned 108 pounds and then follows Hicena under 107. ENDURANCE PURSE. A small field of seven better grade platers -will start in the stamina testing distance; of two miles and a quarter in the River Downs Endurance Purse, that will bring the day and seasdn to a close. The two races at one mile and three-quarters will serve as the sixth and seventh races. Ten were named for each race and from all indications they should result in thrilling contests. With Indian summer weather prevailing Friday the track is in its best condition and a forecast for fair weather tomorrow, the management expects a gathering that will surpass last Saturdays turnout, when the largest crowd of the meeting was present The fields for the Farewell and Au Revoir Handicaps, in order of post positions, weights and probable jockeys follows: FAREWELL HANDICAP.
