FIGURES FOR FAIR GROUNDS Owners Split 32,755 During Long Southern Meeting. B. Hernandez Heads Money-Winning Owners With 4,735 Grey Count Accounts for Louisiana Derby. Butsey Hernandez, E. K. Bryson, Lone Star Stable and numerous other owners I. found the long Fair Grounds meeting of 113 days a happy hunting ground for money of prizes. The trio named was especially for- j tunate in winning money prizes, Hernandez c leading all others in the quest for money. The Crescent City owners string carried off 4,735, the largest share to the credit of n any turfman, but only a small portion, relatively, of the 32,755 given away by the t jockey club. With the meeting beginning g November 26, owners had a daily average t. in distribution of ,714.65 to shoot at The meeting ended March 28. v The session was undoubtedly the best j since the Eddy-Cattarinich forces took over e the track. The 0,000 added Louisiana Derby was the big feature and fell to Grey j Count in a good contest The Derby victory r, gave the three-year-old money-winning hon- v ors for the meeting. J.
