REAPING REWARD FAVORITE IN CARROLLS DERBY BOOK Reaping Reward, the Milky Way Farm stables crack three-year-old, was backed into favoritism for the Kentucky Derby, on May 8, in James J. Carrolls St. Louis book Thursday when Carroll slashed the colts price to 5 to 1, 5 to 2, 6 to 5, and 3 to 5 to run fourth. Reaping Reward has been backed down from 10 to 1. Carroll now has Reaping Reward quoted at 5; Brooklyn, 6, and Pompoon 8 to 1. Reaping Reward is now In training at the Arlington track, Fort Worth, Texas, where the colt is scheduled to start in the Texas Derby April 17.
