PRINCE HEATHER was never far from the pace and, coming gamely under urging on the outside after entering the stretch, wore down SMALL MORTGAGE in the stretch to win in a drive. The latter took command early to show good speed and held on fairly well. TWIN PEAKS closed ground and was going strongly at the end. PANATELA had no excuses and tired in the stretch. RAPID MORTGAGE was in close quarters in the stretch. DODIE was off slowly and was forced back. WIGTOWN raced up strongly approaching the stretch turn and easily bested the others in the run home. HALSTEAD, breaking from the outside, was forced to race wide and showed a good effort to finish well. PENCHEN was in early trouble. WILD LOVE made a brief move in the stretch, but tired. MICKEY OBOYLE was close to the pace when lie raced to the outside fence on the stretch turn. PRIDE AND JOY had some early speed. QUAKERCONARD could not keep up. Overweight Penchen, 2 pounds.
