The latter, in close quarters at the lower turn, worked his way forward on the inside, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch and finished strongly. CHATTERLY, never far back and lucky to find room when improving his position, finished strongly. WHISKARITA, used up in the pace, tired near the end. UNLAWFUL, a strong factor from the start, bore out entering the stretch, but came again in the late stages. REVONAH made up ground. GREAT CHANCE was knocked back at the lower turn.
