LARGEST STRING ON GROUNDS L. K. Rogers, Veteran Lexington Horseman, Preparing Fourteen at Local Trotting Track. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 14. The largest stable on the grounds at the Lexington trotting track Is the fourteen head being trained by L. K. Rogers, veteran local conditioner, who is prepping his charges for various Lexington owners. The establishment consists of seven untried two-year-olds and a like number of older horses which were in winter quarters here. The older horses being prepared by Rogers for racing at Keeneland are Jay Bee Jay, Sadie Greenock, Litigation, Gloria Gold, Great Smoke, Veisee, and Sada. The seven two-year-olds are by as many different sires and, according to Rogers, all are doing as nicely as expected, though he has not asked the youngsters to give their best, although several have gone as good as :35 over the trotting track course. Names, color, and breedings are as follows: Bon Buddy, ch. g, by Buddy Bauer Bonnie Lady. Crack On, ch. g, by Caractus Consider. Lady Wauneka, br. f, by Blind Play San-cey. Mere Light, ch. g, by Mere Play Lamp light. Chat Me, ch. g, by Chatover Trebora. Broad Play, br. f, by Broadside Lady Fair-play. King Rib, b. g, by King Nadi Rib.
