FROM TROTTERS TO RUNNERS Veteran Harness Horse Enthusiast Training Six Horses at New Eeeneland Track. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 14. Five two-year-olds and the three-year-old. Wee Hed-wig, embraces the stable trained by C. A. Valentine, veteran trotting horse trainer who has gone in for the thoroughbreds the past five years. Valentine has his modest stable in training at the Lexington trotting track and will van the farthest advanced ones in the stable to Keeneland when he finds races for the youngsters. The two-year-olds have been named and trainer Valentine received acceptance of the quintet last week. Name, color, sex and breedings are: Upset Macaw, bay colt, by Upset Rose-letta. Breezy Flag, bay filly, by Sun Flag Rosie Smith. Steel Spur, grey gelding, by Strathleven Coquina. Best Macaw, chestnut filly, by Macaw Upset Ann. My Dolly Dean, bay filly, by Leonard IL Dolly Dean. The young racers, with the exception of the gray gelding. Steel Spur, are training satisfactorily, according to Valentine. Steel Spur injured a knee Monday morning and the son of Strathleven will be out of training for several weeks.
