BOB SMITH REJECTS OFFERS NEW YORK, N. Y April 14.-R. J. "Bob" Smith stated that he had rejected two offers to train a private stable in the past week but that he preferred to race his own horses for this year. He also said that he would have no objection to taking a limited number of outside horses on the same basis as a public trainer.
