INCREASED PURSES FOR 1937 LONGACRES MEETING SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 14. Condition books for the first eight days of racing at Longacres have arrived at Tanforan and show increased money In stakes, purses and other events. The Longacres book one of the most attractive to appear in the West in some time, is profusely illustrated and extols the virtues of the great Northwest region. The feature of the Longacres meeting is the 0,000 added Longacres mile to be run September 4. This event which last year was won by Exotude, then racing as Blue Boot, will attract a good field. The same officials a3 last season have been engaged with George Schilling, presiding steward; Russell Sanders, racing secretary; Eddie Thomas, starter, and Walter Marty mutuel manager.
