BEAVER COUNTY, away slowest and outrun for three-eighths, made up ground fast on the inside, war steered to the outside of SAXLEN in the final sixteenth and just got up. SAXLEN, well up from the start, forged to the front inside the final eighth, was unable to draw clear and tired at the end. MYRON, unablt to improve its early position, responded to strong urging in the drive and was fast wearing the leaders down at the end. GRIMALDI rushed to the front, drew dear after Five-sixteenths, was put to strong urging when tiring; but gave way fast in the final sixteenth. GOLDMAN was done after a half mile. MISS SUBWAY, fractious and away fast from outside the stalls, held on well. THE REW, shuffled back early, weaved his way through the field when improving his position and closed strongly.
