Financial experts predicted today if the Dill was made low the state would reap a harvest of approximately 52,000,000 and would relieve the pressing monetary problems which face the state at present. The bill would be considered jointly by the House Committee on Miscellaneous Legislation. Another bill sponsored by Representative J. Slater Smith, Green Cove Springs, would legalize casinos. Smith estimates his bill would raise ,000,000 to 000,000 a year. The money from the gambling casinos would be turned over to the old age pension fund.
