I ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES f s Jockey Frank Kurinec hung up his tack Thursday and, after purchasing The Jurist from Blue Bonnets Stable, he applied for a trainers license and expects to acquire several others for an Omaha campaign. Jockey George Wolf, who came here to ride Heelfly in the Texas Derby and remained over to pilot Liberty Scout in the Juvenile Stakes, departed for Kentucky, where he reports to the E. R. Bradley stable. Tommy Luther left for his home at Saratoga Springs, where he will vacation for several days before reporting to the Jake Freeman stable at Narragansett. Jockey Arthur Craig will accompany the Three Ds Stock Farm stable to Churchill Downs. C. C. Hastings, who trains the Wilkens charges, will supervise the transfer of the Johr stock, which will be turned over to a trainer to be selected to succeed the late O. Huskie, who died here Monday. Joe Robilio, Memphis, Tenn., sportsman and owner of Photography, Redress, March King and Her Hero, trained by J. Schles-singer, arrived Thursday from the Tennessee city and will remain for the rest of the meeting. Robilio has a yearling by Kil-kerry from Dixie Conna quartered at the Three Ds nursery and the Memphis turf patron inspected the filly before the races Thursday. Jockey H. Chinn departed for Aurora, where he will await the arrival of the C. W. Pershall stable in charge of Tommy- Root. Chinn has given a call on his services to trainer Root for the Fox Valley meeting. Jockey Herbert W. Fisher, one of the leading riders several years ago, who, due to increasing weight, joined the ranks of the trainers, returned to the saddle and had hl3 first mount of the meeting on Aurangzeb in the third race Thursday. Fisher now scales at 110 pounds and is with the Jack Carter stable.
