Start pood and slow. Won easily; second and third the same. MAGICIENNE broke fast and showed speed, raced EARLY EVENING into defeat and then drew away. LADY PEG improved her position steadily on the outside and finished with good courage through the final eighth. INFINITE LADY moved up fast on the outside rounding the far turn, lost ground entering the stretch and finished well. ROOM SERVICE broke slowly and was outrun the first part, but closed steadily under urging at the end. WATCHCASE began slowly, moved up fast on the extreme outside at the far turn and showed a good effort. RAGS AND TAGS broke well, but was knocked back after going an eighth and then was blocked on the inside rearing the stretch turn. EARLY EVENING showed a flash of early speed. GLENBROOM followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved up with determination when called upon in the stretch, disposed of MY COLIN and drew away. GREAT HASTE was outrun in the early stages, but worked his way up on the outside, came through on the inside in the stretch and finished well. MY COLIN drew away into a safe lead, was rated along steadily, but bore out entering the stretch arid then hung. COL. GREENE, away well and outrun to the far turn, responded in the stretch run and closed with a rush. FLYING CENTAUR, close up in the early running, had no mishaps. PARALDA began slowly and was outrun in the first part, improved his position on the inside and closed gamely. HIGHEST POINT, outrun to the far turn, moved up courageously and finished well. WAR STRIPES was rushed into command after the break, showed speed in the going and then faltered. MANY MOONS, a forward factor from the start,, had no mishaps in the running. ANNE G. showed an even effort all the way. WINTER SPORT quit badly after showing early speed. SO HIGH was outrun. TOMAH was bothered severely rounding the first turn. Scratched 36072 Almarme, 104. PRINCESS BULL moved up with determination at the far turn, started up on the outside of the leader at the eighth post, but was steered to the inside and finished stoutly. LUCKY PLEDGE began slowly, improved her position steadily under severe urging, but could not menace the leaders. EARLY AUTUMN showed early speed, but quit badly in the stretch. THAT ONE showed an even effort. SUNFEATHERS broke well, but dropped back steadily. BRAVE AGNES saved ground throuehout. JANEEN was outrun. LARGESS reared at the start.
