BULL LEA IN WORKOUT LEXINGTON, Ky., April 1. With the tracks in slow condition at both Keeneland and Calumet Farm, the only Kentucky Derby candidate to work out was Bull Lea, which was sent only a half mile by trainer Frank Kearns. Warren Wrights colt was held to :52 for the trial, which was only a warm-up for a more serious test tomorrow. Kearns intends to van Bull Lea to Keeneland for tomorrows effort. Irving Anderson, contract rider for the stable, has arrived from Florida and is assisting Kearns, although he as yet has hot been placed on Bull Lea.
