1 BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES s s R. Leach was an arrival from the Fair Grounds. He unloaded Crushed Ice, Taipan, Scout Lass and Transcall. The stable of I. J. Collins will be shipped to Churchill Downs after the Tropical Park meeting. A division of the stable is expected at Beulah Parks spring meeting, from May 4 to 30, inclusive. Various improvements are being made at Ascot Park formerly Northampton, at Akron, for the nineteen-day meeting here from May 28 to June 18, inclusive. The stewards stand is being moved from in front of the grandstand to atop the structure. This change was made at Beulah Park a few years ago and it has met the satisfaction of officials and fans alike. M. J. Ayers will ship Polariscope and Major Bowes to Beulah after the Oaklawn meeting.. E. B. Thomas plans to race Blind Star and Sioux Chief at Beulah. W.- N. Potts got in from the Fair Grounds with four head. The shipment included Princess Tour and Margaret Jones. W. A. Mikel has reserved fourteen stalls. He plans to ship his stable from New Orleans early in April.
