1 TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES I S : B. Y. Barton purchased the plater Color Bearer from S. N. Holman at Tropical Park Thursday. Terms of the deal were private. Mose Goldblatt will transfer his stable, headed by the good handicap performer, Dnieper, to Louisville, Ky. Mose Lowenstein and W. J. Hirsch have arranged to ship their horses to Havre de Grace Monday to await the opening of the meeting at the Susquehanna course, which opens April 15. The shipment left Hialeah Park late Friday. Geo. Phillips has arranged to transfer five members of the Maemere Farm stable to Jamaica. Phillips has a large division on the Long Island oval preparing for summer racing. Robert S. Shelley, who will serve as racing secretary at Woodbine Park, in Toronto, in addition to Narragansett Park and other tracks, stated that the book of conditions for the spring meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club will be released here some time next week. The Kings Plate this season will carry a purse of ,500 added. J. H. McCoole sent his horses to Havre de Grace in the same shipment that carries the horses of M. Lowenstein and W. J. Hirsch. C. H. Trotter and Claude Hunt will have four and five horses, respectively, in the car that brings the horses of the Maemere Farm to Jamaica.
