BARBARA A. was rushed into the lead soon after the start, set a good pace, but tired in the late stages. RED RAIDER moved up with a rush approaching the final quarter and showed a good effort. WEST WICHITA raced well up for the whole trip and snowed a good effort. LUMILLION began slowly, worked his way up on the outside and closed with a rush. BRILL lacked early speed, was far back for a half mile and made up ground rapidly thereafter.
