APPREHEND, away well and under restraint in the early running, moved into command when ready, disposed of the opposition and finished with speed in reserve. FELWYN was placed under pressure rounding the far turn, improved her position and finished with a rush. INACTIVE raced well throughout and held on gamely. LADY PATROL, well up from the start, saved ground and had no mishaps. ACAUTAW was kept forwardly, but on the outside of the leaders throughout. ITSIE BITSIE showed an even effort. LADYS FAVOR had a flash of early speed. RED NOSE quit badly in the final eighth. PENNLIST and GRIERLAD were outrun. PROWL forced the pace from the start, but was on the outside all the way, responded under urging . entering the stretch and was kept under urging after disposing of CAN BLOOM to hold ACUTE safe. The latter began slowly, but improved his position steadily and finished with determination. TROLIGHT raced well all the way and had no mishaps. CAN BLOOM showed early speed while saving ground and quit. GREEN WATER came fast through the stretch. FREE RIDE was well up for a half mile and faltered. VEDALIA unseated his rider at the post and ran away a quarter, then was outpaced in the running. MARINE MAID showed a flash of early speed. TRIVET quit badly. HIGH BLAME raced forwardly all the way and held on with good courage. BALIRIS moved into command with a rush, showed speed and saved ground, but faltered in the final eighth. SAVANT raced greenly.
