TRAVEL AGENT, beginning swiftly, assumed command immediately, shook off WHINCHAT- on the stretch turn and drew out willingly in the closing test. WHINCHAT raced closest to the winner all the way and outstayed GIBOIR. The latter held a forward position, was handled strongly, but failed to improve his position. KING JOY was away nicely,- was; handled strongly, but failed to improve his position. BALA ORMONT gained slowly in the late stages. M. M. BACHMAN was in the first flight, but failed to threaten. DRIVERIN had no excuses. LADY FLORIDA raced greenly and was never a factor. PRILIGHT met with slight interference on the turn. LADY ALL was outrun. . LADY BESSIE fell back of the leaders after the first quarter mile, responded willingly in the last three-sixteenths, swung to the outside and, finishing full of run, was up in the closing strides. ONRUSH, was steered to the outside midway of the back stretch when settled into his stride, engaged the leaders on the stretch turn and fought it out strongly under punishment. EURYALUS gained a short lead when vigorously urged in the early racing, met strong contention from EXHORT and held on stoutly when caught. EXHORT forced a good pace until reaching the stretch, then tired. CELTIC LEGEND was pinched back after going close to the leaders for three-eighths. MY PAULINE could not keep pace with the leaders after breaking forwardly, then failed to rally when the real test came. BETNABAR raced well for a half mile then tired. RELIABLE ANN was badly outrun. PETIT FOURS was hustled into a prominent position on the inside in the early running, stole through when the leaders went out on the stretch turn, finished willingly and outstayed ANNOYED The latter going close up in the early running, raced to the pacemaker readily when shaken up nearing the stretch swung very wide, then came determinedly right at the end. MARY STOLL displayed good speed while setting the early pace, met stout contention from WINTONA, but tired in the closing eighth FIRST DATE beginning slowly, came with a belated rush in the late stages. TONEYS TOMBOY raced evenly WINTONA was a forward contender for a half mile, then tired. BIG WAGER lacked speed. Overweight Big Wager, 1 pound. FIFTH RACE 5 1-2 FURLONGS Out of Chute. SAUNDERSTOWN, forcing a fast pace while going in close attendance of HAPPY KNOT, responded to a strong drive when the real test came and came away after moving to the front in the last sixteenth. HAPPY KNOT set a fast early pace, saved ground and continued gameiy when vigorously urged. PRETTY BUSY showed good early speed and held on with good energy to the close. LADFIELD, beginning much slower than usual, circled his field, but could not reach the leaders. HARPEN BELLE raced well placed, but failc-d to menace. JADVA was never dangerous. FAIR, going forwardly after breaking nicely, was eased back after going three-eighths, was shaken up and closed with a belated rush. She appeared best. TIME INTERVAL, a stout contender from the start, raced to the front nearing the stretch, but tired suddenly inside the final eighth. BLOOMER GIRL, away slowly, settled into her stride and came fastest nearing the finish. NOAJEAN was racing gamely in the late stages. CAUTIVO tired in the last eighth. ROMAN PRIDE raced well. SAY DO, going in his best form, gained the lead soon after the start, was hustled along all the way and drew out steadily in the last three-sixteenths. BEAVER LAKE bettered his position on the outside, overhauled GAYETTE, but bore toward the inside in the final eighth and his rider had difficulty in keeping him straight. STINGY saved much ground while racing forwardly and outlasted GAYETTE. The latter showed a good effort, but tired badly nearing the close. NOBLE SPIRIT was away Poorly and was never a factor. COME HOME was held safe. LADY CHINIQUY was never dangerous. ROCKY MOUNT was also away poorly. PHILIPPI BOY had no mishaps. Overweight Gayette, 2 pounds; Come Home, 2. LANDSCAPE worked her way forward gradually, closed with good courage, but was no threat to the winner. MISS TAD sprinted into an easy lead, saved ground all the way, but tired badly under punishment when the final test came. CREDULOUS raced stoutly for seven-eighths, then tired. STIPULATE was made too much use of getting into contention. ESPINACA was unable to enter contention. BAY MEMOR was done early.
