REFUND WAGERS ON ANNINO IN BOWIE "DOUBLE" I-------.-------- --.--...A BOWIE, Md., April 4. There were 1,826 tickets sold on the Apprehend-Prowl combination in the "Daily Double," that being a new record for one coupling at Bowie in this pool. By some odd interpretation of the rule, those who had Apprehend hooked up with Annino, which ran away in the second and had to be withdrawn, received a refund of the money wagered. Those who bet on Annino when the race came up, lost their wagers.
