SISTER ANN closed gamely through the stretch. MUGAL was close up from the start and had no mishaps. JOES MARY showed an even effort all the way. TWO CENTS was in close quarters after the start. GUITAR began slowly. LIGHT YEAR was crowded back after the break. SPANISH BUNT had no mishaps. LADY BETHYL began slowly. LEPSID began slowly. LOISESTELLE S. had no mishaps. DEPTH-BOMB was sent into command at the start, was rated along under steady restraint while saving ground and had no mishaps. PHARABOO improved his position on the inside and finished well. GRA VILLA lacked early speed, worked her way up steadily and finished with a rush through the stretch. SQUIRREL had no excuses m the running. LADY PEG could not keep up. SEA CAPTAIN showed speed from the start, drew away on the far turn, responded when urged in the stretch and held on well to the end. CHANT DOR saved ground from the start, made a determined bid in the stretch and hung. uET OFF was crowded back after the start, came again under pressure and finished well. BOOK PLATE, well up in the early stages, faltered under urging. SPANISH JEAN showed a good effort. OMNIBUS moved up with a rush rounding the far turn and then dropped back suddenly. STEAM ROLLER was in close quarters on the inside in the "early running. YOUNG COUNTY dwelt at the start. CHALMAC lacked early speed. MANY FLAGS had no mishaps. LEE S. showed a flash of early speed. IDLE WAY lacked speed in the early stages and made up ground slowly through the, final eighth. NORTH RIDING showed early speed, then quit under urging. MIYAKO quit badly in the final eighth. RHINIZ, a slow beginner, improved his position steadily and finished with a rush on the inside at the end. TORCHLIGHT, well up from the start, held on with good courage. KNIGHTS HAVEN, under steady restraint on the outside of the leaders in the run through the back stretch, quit at the end. -GULF BREEZE showed a good effort throughout. MIQUELON was sent into command at the start, showed speed and held on gamely when urged, although forced to take to the outside when the winner bore over. SIGNALMAN, on the outside of the leaders in the early stages, improved his position steadily and was going strongly when impeded by MIQUELON at the sixteenth post. SPRING MEADOW was kept close to the pace from the start and had no excuses. DEPARTED lacked early speed, but finished well. SILAS showed a good effort. MAMAS CHOICE was outrun and had no mishaps.
