HOPKINS QUITS SAGE STABLE NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 4. Fred Hopkins has resigned as trainer of the Sage Stable horses, effective November 1, and he will be succeeded by Henry McDaniel. Hopkins, who developed Equipoise and other good horses, is undecided at present as to his future plans.
