LOU NOVA BEATS BARLTJND NEW YORK, N. T., Oct. 4. Lou Nova gained a bit of distinction in the heavyweight division when he stopped Gunnar Barlund in one minute and forty-three seconds of the seventh round of their scheduled fifteen-round bout. The losers left eye was so badly cut that referee Arthur Donovan refused to allow the fight to continue.
