FRANCES LOU, hustled to the front on the outside, set a good pace under Steadying restraint, responded well when challenged, gave way rearing the end, but came again to outfinish BREVARD. The latter, well up from the start, was taken in hand when outrun, en-raged the winner approaching the tinal quarter, lost, ground entering the stretch and hung after reaching the lead in the last stages. THlblLt. RESS, far back early, worked her way forward steadily and finished well on the outside. LIblfc.M.Mj saved ground throughout and tired. POLISHER was unable to keep up. TYR forced the Field Avide when racing into the lead on the lower turn, set a good pace under light, restraint, increased his advantage when shaken up, swerved in the stretch and won with somthing to spare, but was disqualified for a foul and placed last. BRILL, forced back on the lower turn, trailed for more than a half mile, improved her position rapidly thereafter and failed to menace the winner, but was placed first through the disqualification. JADVA, forced over on the field by the winner, moved up fast after recovering and tired near the end. AGNES KNIGHT finished fast on the inside. BACKINTIME tired. CHENAULT, never far back and reserved early, raced forward while going wide and tired. MISS GOHI saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. BECKVILLE made up ground. HINDU PRINCESS, outrun early, closed with a rush on the extreme outside. DON PANCHO tired after improving his position. NUDGE made up ground in the drive. COMPUTER was badly-ridden. ENTREE, used up in reaching early contention, quit under pressure. ROUGH CREEK showed little.
