BREEZING ALONG SPARKLES pomes From Rear With Mighty Rush to Earn a Spectacular Victory in Rockingham Feature. SALEM, N. H., Oct. 4 Medway Stables Breezing Along, under a hard ride from Carroll Bierman, ran over the entire field from the eighth pole to win the mile and a sixteenth Colburn Claiming Purse, which featured the sport at Rockingham today. The winner, which was in last place turning for home, was half a length clear of G. T. Hannas Mobcap at the end. It was a close fight for second place, with Eobcap coming right at the end to take that away by a nose over Mrs. L. H. Nimkoffs Chauvin. Sun Mica was fourth in the field of eight. The race marked a double for Bierman, who won the opener on Hasty Rose. I It was a crisp fall afternoon with the sun shining brightly, and although a good crowd was out, the handle gain was a light one. Sun Mica went out to make the pace in ,the feature with Mobcap in nearest pursuit ito the far turn. There Chauvin raced by horses as if they were tied and showed in front of Mobcap as they straightened out. At the eighth pole Sun Mica was tiring and Breezing Along began his charge from ruck, but his task appeared a hopeless one. .Going to the sixteenth pole, Chauvin was drawing off slightly and appeared a sure winner. Then Breezing Along really bore down in earnest and came flying up on the outside, itaking two strides for every one of the ihorses in front of him. He won drawing off. Chauvin was faltering badly in the final yards, and Mobcap, responding to the gad, jcame along in the last jump to beat him out for the place.
