MISS KIEy, inside for the first half mile, responded when called upon rounding the far turn, was steered to the inside for the final drive and, lucky when the leaders swung wide turning into the stretch, outgamed MAGIC ARROW. The latter forced the pace from the start, raced wide turning into the stretch and held on gamely when straightened, but was not good enough. CALEB, hustled into a commanding lead, raced wide turning into the stretch, but was easily best of the others. BAY BOY raced on the outside. MY PETER faltered in the final eighth. BILLY I. had nothing icft for the drive. MISS ADAMS quit. AMASIN had early speed. The others were never prominent. Overweight Miss Kiev, 1 pound; Billy I., 3; Amasin, 1; Ace of Spades, 2. VOLGADALE was unable to reach the leaders under strong pressure. AMIJO tired in the final sixteenth. KING TODAY raced on the outside throuehout. SILVER SAN quit. RUFFDAY was through after five-eighths. ROYAL TREASURE broke slowly and then wheeled.
