BAY MEADOWS NEAR FINALE Only Three More Days of Sport at San Mateo Track. Worlds Fair Handicap Feature of Final Program Saturday Tanforan Opening Next. SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 9. Three more days of racing and it will be all over but the shouting at Bay Meadows for the present year. Next week the scene shifts to Tanforan, where twenty-five days of racing will be given to be concluded December 17. As the final feature offerings at the Bay Meadows track messrs. Kyne and company, will present the Worlds Fair Handicap, the San Rafael Handicap and the Armistice Day Handicap, giving three separate classes of horses a chance to click in a rich purse. The Worlds Fair is a distance race for all ages, the San Rafael a sprint for all ages and the Armistice Day a sprint for two-year-olds. Likely favorites for the concluding brace of features are Ligaroti in the Worlds Fair, Bang in the Armistice Day and Dogaway in the San Rafael. Bang won the Bay Meadows Futurity while Dogaway defeated Ligaroti and Today in the six furlongs Burl-ingamc Handicap last Saturday. Ligaroti will prefer the added distance in the Worlds Fair. Horses for whom the remaining races in the last condition book do not fit are being moved up the Peninsula to Tanforan and the Marchbank barns will be loaded by Saturday. As a result the majority of training activities are at Tanforan, and the dockers have started concentrating on that track. The best workout turned in at Bay Meadows Wednesday morning was that of Today, which ran one mile in the following fractions: :49, 1:15, and a mile in 1:41. He went out the mile and an eighth in 1:54. Jockey Jack Westrope, who may ride Today in the Worlds Fair Handicap,, was reported to have arrived in Los Angeles Wednesday morning, and will be at Bay Meadows Thursday or Friday. Nothing had been heard from Georgs Woolf or Harry Richards.
