ADAMS AND FALLON THROWN SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 9. A bad-looking spill, involving two of the leading riders at Bay Meadows, occurred during the running of the first race at the Kyne track today. Truce, third choice in the betting and one of the early pacemakers, stumbled and fell while racing in a forward position in the stretch and Hasti Ele feli over her. "Shorty" Adams, on Hasti Ele, was thrown over the fence, while M. L. Fallon, who was riding Truce, scrambled to his feet quickly and attempted to catch Hasti Ele. Truce, after lying on the track motionless for several minutes, suddenly arose and at-temped to run away. Neither jockeys nor horses suffered injury.
