PELLETERI GOING TO COAST Notifies Santa Anita Management He Is Shipping Strong Stable West This Week. ARCADIA, Calif., Nov. 23 A Pelleteri and the Millsdale Stable, Santa Anita regulars, have notified the Los Angeles Turf Club that they will ship a strong string from Maryland this week. Pelleteri, who recently signed Charley Stevenson to do his riding, includes the five-year-old OGrady, which he brought over from England a month or so ago, to have a foreign threat for the 00,000 added Santa Anita Handicap. OGrady is reported to have won the two mile June Handicap in England on two occasions, the Durbana Stakes at Epsom Downs, the Kings Handicap at Windsor, and the Brighton Cup, all of which will recommend him. Rye Beach has won six out of eight starts and has developed from the claimers to the handicap division. Mower and Sir Raleigh, along with Isaroma, are others that may be put into the big race. Pelleteri lists his horses as follows: Steam Roller, two-year-old; Blazing Heat, two; Sonny John, two; Mystic Isle, two; Sir Bud, two; Sun Lover, two; Sun Plume, two; Green Meg, two; Royal Bit, two; Teddys Girl, two; OGrady, five; Nadir, four; Watersplash, five; Mark-me, five; Mower, five; Winning Chance, four; Rye Beach, four; Yarn Sox, three; Isaroma, three; Sir Raleigh, three; Arcadian, three; Bain Marie, four; Savernake, five; Mill More, two, and Worry, three. The T. P. Morgan horses, which have arrived at the farm near Fort Worth, Texas, will be shipped shortly to Santa Anita in charge of Bert B. Williams, who has been named as trainer to succeed E. L. Snyder. Liberty Flight, the sensational filly, Smart Crack and Early Autumn, winner of three straight in New York, are among the stake candidates. Bob McGarvey is handling The Fighter and a band of yearlings for W. F. Morgan, but it is a question if he will be out. Willard F. Tunney, manager of operations, has reported at Santa Anita Park to join general manager Charles H. Strubs executive staff.
