LOSES 4 FINGERS; GETS 7000 Porter D. Winans, 55, a switchman, of Bellpre, Ohio, was awarded damages of 7,-000 by a jury in Superior Judge Damrons court Tuesday. Winans, while working for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at Parkers-burg, W. Va., on January 12, 1938, tripped over a wire in the dark and fell under a train, losing four fingers as a result.
