BOSONIA held her position safe for speed, was nicely rated in front while racing well off the inner rail, continued with determination when placed to pressure through the stretch and maintained her advantage with determination. BIG BUD gradually improved his position on the outside after leaving the back stretch, inade a bold effort entering the stretch, but faltered and swerved to the inside in the final eighth. TURKISH BRAND, slow to find his stride, moved up strongly after entering the stretch to easily dispose of HOPE. The latter, hard urged throughout, had no mishaps. MILLINER, a forward contender in the early stages, retired in the last quarter mile. BRILLIANT ROSE worked her way into contention steadily, responded willingly for the closing drive, finished on the inside of ROSARIAN and was up in the last few yards. ROSARIAN, rated in pursuit of the pacemaker, swung wide when reaching the stretch and gained a short lead, but failed to withstand the winner. PIRATE LASS raced into an easy lead, was steadied until challenged, then held on willingly to the finish. CHIEF EVERGREEN was kept within striking distance of the leaders and came gamely when forced to a hard drive. JEZREEL was always in the first flight, but was not good enough. LONG FACE raced well. TOMMY ROSE lost ground and could not enter contention. COUNTER PASS was never a factor. MORE POISE was outrun. EXHORT could not keep up. CHANNING quit. MERRY GESTURE, going in her best formri displaced ROBESPIERRE midway of the turn, crossed over sharply in front of the latter at the eighth post, then had to be shaken up stoutly to last long enough. ROBESPIERRE was ridden hard after losing command, was blocked midway of the stretch while racing on the inside, recovered gamely and came to the outside to finish strongest. ROMAUNT raced stoutly for the first half mile, then tired gradually. STEAM ROLLER raced wide and was unable to threaten. He appears in good form and worth watching. BANNER GIRL was ridden hard all the way, but was not good enough NELLIE BLY was done after going a half mile, racing in the deeper footing on the. inside. EBONY BLUE was never a threat. OCEAN ROLL was displaced midway of the turn, fell back slightly, then continued willingly to outlast POSTAGE DUE. The latter raced strongly for five-eighths, then tired under punishment after" getting to the front. WINNING CHANCE raced on the outside of the leaders from the beginning, but could not threaten seriously. PERLETTE raced well throughout. SACHEM was racing stoutly in the late stages after lacking early speed. DONNA LEONA suffered early interference. MARKME was always outrun." HAPPY KNOT quit after five-eighths. ACCIDENTAL was a keen contender from the start and held on willingly when placed to, punishment. GREY NURSE could not get into a clear lead and tired under punishment when the real test came. JOLLY FLAG raced strongly all the way. FAIR ROCK could not keep up when placed to a vigorous drive. WAR STREAK failed to enter contention. LADY SOLACE was never a threat and lost considerable ground. ALWINTOUR was rated close to SALFORD, assumed command midway of the final turn, came out into the firmer footing when reaching the stretch and held on strongly when caught. GRAND DUKE wai prominent in the early racing and held on gamely while finishing on the inside. JOLYON worked his way forward steadily, but could not engage the leaders. PEEDEEQUE raced in his best form, but was not good enough. CHILLY EBBIE had no mishaps. A. OCONNELL raced wide for the entire trip. SALFORD tired in the last five-sixteenths. SUNTOSUN was used up reaching a forward position. TUFT HUNTER could not keep up. JACK PATCHES saved ground the entire trip, but was unable to get to the leaders, although best of the others. GAURISANKAR was steadied close to the winner in the first three-quarters, then tired under a drive. SAIDONA showed a good race. HIGH END could not keep up when the real test came.
