I TANF0RAN TURF NOTES f J . S A. A. Baroni, owner of the handicap str Specify, was an arrival early Friday morning. Baroni will return to Arcadia Saturday night. Trainer T. C. Griffin shipped out three head to Santa Anita Saturday. The Griffin shipment consisted of Primulus, the good handicap mare which races in the interest of F. Smith. Primulus is coming along in good shape after recovering from a slight bow at Hollywood Park. Oscar Otis and Stroud will make up the shipment. Griffin will blister the two-year-old Lynette O., and turn her out at the Genant Ranch. Two cars got away Friday morning for Santa Anita. The stables of H. L. Ferguson, Selden and Ketchell, H. H. Cotton, Gillespie L. and I. Co., and P. L. Fuller made up the shipment. The horses of the Double H. Ranch were being loaded late Friday for shipment to Santa Anita. J. Weber, trainer for the Double H Ranch, will go with the horses to the southern track and will return to the home ranch to supervise the breaking of yearlings. Jockey A. Fermin, who was suspended for the final three days of the Tanforan meeting, has departed for Agua Caliente where he will ride on Sunday, the day following his suspension. Jockey B. Reynolds incurred the wrath of the stewards Thursday when he was suspended for the final two days of racing at Tanforan. Reynolds was set down for rough riding during the running of the first race Thursday. Jockey Clyde Turk departed Friday for . Santa Anita, where he will gallop horses until the opening. Mrs. D. Copenhaver purchased the four-year-old Sky Bingo from R. Gill, terms of the sale being private. J. E. Copenhaver will train the colt for Mrs. L. CopenhaVer. Jimmie Sweet, the only withdrawal on Fridays card was found to have suffered a quarter-crack after a morning workout.
