GOOD MEMORY, under snug restraint for almost three-quarters, moved up thereafter on the outside under light urging, was put to increased pressure in the last eighth and held ONCAVE safe. The latter had good speed from the beginning, was taken in hand when outrun after a quarter, responded when called iipon entering the stretch and closed well. POLANTE SETH came over sharply soon after the start, was in hand to the last three-eighths and held on well thereafter. WAKA held his position for five-eighths without need of strong pressure, was hard ridden after reaching the last quarter and held on fairly well. TRIPLE PLAY raced evenly. CASH O BOY, reserved off the pace for three-quarters, took command with a rush and drew out.-, steadily. MASTERPIECE, well in hand for three-quarters, responded to urging thereafter, but could not get to the winner. DEAD CALM, put to pressure after five-eighths, gradually moved up, but could not threaten the leaders. TUNBRIDGE forced the pace for a half mile under restraint, took command "thereafter when shaken up and then tired in the final quarter. MORRIS GRINER had no excuses. TAKEN, never far out of it and hard hustled throughout, came wide on the stretch turn and showed a good effort. WARLAINE began slowly, worked his way up through the field and closed a good gap. FAIRFLAX, never far out of it and on the inside throughout, was unable to reach the leaders when under pressure. WAXWING tired in the drive. LOSTAGAL, taken under light restraint early and kept on the outside throughout, responded readily to vigorous urging in the last three-sixteenths, disposed of PATROL SCOUT and drew clear. PATROL SCOUT, never far back, overtook DOMANIO within the final eighth and drew clear, but was unable to retain his advantage. JUBILEE C. moved up with a rush on the inside after five-eighths, encountered blocking and was taken to the outside, finishing fast. HOPE DIAMOND made up some ground. DOMANIO was rushcu into the lead soon after the start and set the pace under snug restraint, but tired rapidly in the last eighth. MICHIGAN FLYER, unable to keep up in the early stages, was taken back when in close quarters on the far . turn and never recovered. TORCH STICK showed speed for five-eighths, tiring badly thereafter.
