MYMAN, well up from the start, tired slightly at the end. SANTER was in close quarters on the far turn. The others were never serious contenders. CASTABOUT turned in a dull effort. HIBLAZE broke in motion, had good early speed to take command immediately after the start, drew into a long lead when straight in the back stretch and saved ground on the. rail, but had to be placed under punishment -at the end. BLIND TALK, always well up, was reserved from the pace of the winner, moved up stoutly through the stretch, but was not good enough. STEPPING IN, slow to settle into stride, gradually bettered his position and finished full of run. FRED ALMY had some early speed, but fell back quickly. LILTEEN raced evenly, but could not threaten. PEGADETTE, rated within striking distance of the leaders until entering the stretch, secured racing room on the inside entering the stretch, then gradually wore down the leaders. BO DEAN was hustled to the front immediately following the start, was taken in hand when clear, raced slightly wide entering the stretch and could not withstand the bid of the winner. RAZZLE DAZZLE, away sluggishly, trailed the field in the early racing, moved up stoutly when settled into full stride and finished very fast. SHERIFF EUGENE forced the early pace of BO DEAN while under stout restraint and had nothing left when put to pressure. MY GOODNESS raced evenly. VICKSON and CLARET PUNCH collided at the start. COMBATANT, fractious at the post, broke from outside the stalls, was rushed into contention on the outside at once, but had too much taken out of him and tired at the end GALANTHUS could not match the speed of the early leaders, but closed some ground. SUMMER HAIL could never enter contention. SALLY QUICK quit. ROYAL BUSINESS, unable tQ match the speed of the winner, was placed under restraint in the early stages, moved up threateningly in the back stretch, But was no match for the winner. LANDLUBBER, slow W find his best speed, moved into closer contention after a half mile, saved ground and finished well. HOLLUSCHICKIE, well placed in the early racing, could not improve his position when called upon. BARGAIN BOY closed some ground. SCHLEY NURSE could not keep up. BILL BLEIWEISS quit early. SPOTLESS, always in a contending position, made a determined bid in the stretch, hut tired. NATIONAL forced the early pace of the winner, but quit badly when placed to punishment. HUPPY raced venly, but could not menace. SEA FINN was never able to engage the leaders. The others were never contenders.
