VETERAN GELDING JERE DIES PORTAGE, Wis., Dec. 27. Trainer J. H. Mills, of the Mrs. A. T. Wooster stable, the horses of which are in winter quarters at their owners farm near here, reported the death today of the seven-year-old gelding Jere, winner of three out of seven starts during the current .year. Jere was a son of Wise Counsellor Fedora.
