SNYDER SEEKS NEW TRIAL LOS ANGELES, Calif., Dec. 27. Sentencing of Col. Moe "The Gimp" Snyder was postponed today when a motion for a new trial was made by "The Gimps" lawyer, Jerry Geisler, on his conviction of shooting Myrl Alderman, husband of Snyders former wife, Ruth Etting. Judges Thomas L. Ambrose continued proceedings until January 5, at which time he will hear arguments. Snyder was in court when Geisler made his motion. He has been in the county jail since a jury returned a guilty verdict against him.
