MORRIS TAKES OVER JANUARY 1 LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 27. A story afloat here over the week-end was to the effect that trainer Dan T. Morris would leave next week for Miami with the Dale Shaffer horses whiclr"are now at Coldstream Stud Farm. Charlie Kenney, manager of the thoroughbred department at Coldstream, today said this is incorrect. Trainer Morris will assume his duties January 1, and the horses will be sent out to Keeneland some time during January, if arrangements can be made there for stalls.
