W. T. W1LM0RE PASSES AWAY Lexington Horseman Considered One of Best Judges of Young Horses in America Funeral Today. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 14. William Turner Wilmore, 65, of Harrodsburg, died at 2:45 this morning at St. Josephs Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Wilmore was one of the best judges of a young horse in America. For forty-two years he was a resident of Lexington and for a great part of that time was identified with the firm of Harbison, Jewell and Patterson, operating a saddle horse business at Tattersalls, but during recent years he had devoted his time and attention to selection of young throughbreds for various patrons. He was a man of sterling character and was widely known throughout the United States. A native of Jessamine County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John R. Wilmore and Carrie Fisher Wilmore. He is survived by a brother. Fisher Wilmore, and two sisters, Misses May and Sallie Wilmore, all of Harrodsburg. He was never married. He was a graduate of Central University, Richmond, Ky., in the class of 1895 and was a member of Phi Delta Theta social fraternity and the First Presbyterian Church, Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 10 oclock Saturday morning at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, and will be conducted by Rev. Hassel Bowen, pastor of Harrodsburg Christian Church. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe F. Patterson, Robert Jewell, Roland C. Drake, Phil T. Chinn, W. T. Griffy and W. E. Sandy.
