Implementing Prime Minister Chamberlains promise that the British government would keep in close touch with Soviet Russia on all international developments, Foreign Secretary Viscount Halifax today received Soviet Ambassador Ivan Maisky at the foreign office, The two men held a long conference. There was no offical announcement of any decisions reached.
