BRYANT PAWTUCKET STEWARD PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 14. State Racing Administrator Louis V. Gerry today announced the appointment of the veteran judge Frank Bryant as state racing steward, completing the strongest lineup ever to occupy the stewards stand at Narragansett Park. With the track-appointed stewards, Tom Thorp and Sam Nuckols, as teammates, judge Bryant completes a ruling board unsurpassed at any track in the country. As was the case last year, there will be no presiding steward, each official having an equal andoice in all decisions.
