SKY BREEZE went to the front early and, continuing gamely after being overtaken by KENT on the back stretch, saved ground thereafter and won drawing out. KENT, lucky to avoid interference on the first turn, headed the others on the back stretch, but was tiring at the finish. SAN RAMON found an opening near the stretch turn, then closed steadily. PARLEY VOUS was forced to take up going to the first turn and raced well when clear. SHASTA SLIPPER was never a serious factor. CRYSTAL GLENN moved up strongly on the outside on the back stretch, then tired and bore out badly on the stretch turn. QUEENS PROTEGE had speed for half the distance. THISTLE AIR, close up from the start, moved up steadily through the stretch and, overtaking SKY SHOOT, took the lead in the closing strides. MOHAC was in close quarters early and raced rather wide in the stretch, but was close up at the finish. SKY SHOOT went to the front early and opened up a good lead on the back stretch and saved ground thereafter, but tired. STROUD had no mishaps and tired in the stretch. The others were outrun. BOOTER Mc began fast and drew into a good lead soon after the start, but was unable to hold the winner. CYNIC QUEEN lacked early speed, but finished fastest. ZADRA made up some ground in the stretch. COHIGH was cut off right after the start. BLACK COSTUME had early speed, but tired. CRYSTAL COUNT raced fairly well. BLAZE OF GLORY bolted to the inside at the start and unseated his rider.
