JACK FLY was kept close up all the way and, under mild restraint, came between the leaders in tho stretch run and proved best in the final drive. RITORNO was best in the running, was poorly ridden all the way and then, after losing ground entering the stretch, finished on his own courage. ST. ANNA showed speed in the early stages and tired in the stretch run. ROCKY MARGOT had no mishaps in the running. SALAVINA could not menace the leaders. HELLO STRANGER broke slowly. AT POST— H minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. POST MERIDIAN was badly outrun in the early stages, but improved his position steadily, was taken up sharply in the stretch, sent to the inside and then proved best in the final drive. GIBOIR forced the pace from the start while on the outside, was bothered by CANOE, then held on well to the end. The latter displayed speed from the start, but was bearing out entering the strtch turn and then carried GIBOIR wide. BUNEA ORO, from a slow beginning, finished with a rush at the end. CREDENCE had no mishaps. QUE GATO showed early speed. ALARMING showed a dull effort. HORSEPOWER could not menace the leaders. WHITE TOPPER had no mishaps. Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third easily. MAHDI slipped through on the inside to take command and drew away into a safe lead, saved ground and held WINNING CHANCE safe at the end. The latter broke fast, but was taken back under restraint, responded to pressure in the stretch run and finished well. POSTAGE DUE broke in a tangle, moved up fast when urged and then came wide entering the stretch. BOLD TURK, in near pursuit of the early pace, had no mishaps in the running. The latter was slow to begin and, outrun in the early stages, improved her position on the outside and closed with a rush. SHOULDER ARMS was sent into command at the start, showed speed and had no mishaps. JOURNEY ON lacked early speed and then closed with a rush through the stretch run. SOIGNE showed a good effort throughout. HALF TIME faltered in the stretch run. ROYAL EMINENCE could not keep up. CANDLE ENDS broke from outside the stalls. LEGENDA was outrun all the way. ONE JEST moved up on the outside rounding the first turn, raced in close pursuit of the pace, assumed command when urged and drew away under urging in the final eighth. ANTHOLOGY was taken up shortly after the start and then rushed up when settled on the back stretch, made a determined bid in the stretch run and then hung at the end. WHITE HOT was away well and was bothered going to the half-mile post and eased back and then failed to menace the leaders when urged. He was disqualified for fouling at the start. FAIR STEIN was slow to begin and outrun the first part and made up some ground at the end. LANDLUBBER was sent into command after bearing in rounding the first turn, showed speed, but tired at the finish. SIXTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. Sting, May 9, 1925— 1:42%— 4— 106. PAPA JACK was taken under restraint rounding the first turn and closed some ground through the stretch. BUBBLESOME showed early speed while saving ground and had no mishaps. HASTY WIRE was outrun early and could jjnt mpnace the leaders at the end. BOSONIA had no excuses in the running. EVEN UP was outrun from the start.
