NEDROW took command rounding the far turn and drew away decisively through the stretch. TIME AND AGAIN raced into second place when straightened out in the stretch, which he retained all through the last eighth. ODD BLAZE closed a wide gap, saved ground in the run home and finished stoutly. HENRIERVA tired after showing early speed. JOY SWEEP was hustled to the front entering the back stretch and, displaying the most speed, was never in trouble thereafter. KIEVRAY closed up steadily through the stretch and outlasted SUSAN W. when the final test came. SUSAN W. had no excuses and finished tiring. REIGH BEGOE was bumped after the start came and crowded back, but closed a wide gap, as did AUTUMN LEAVES. LOVE BOY quit badly. Scratched— 73547 Mere Light, 112. BROADKILL was a forward factor throughout and outstayed ENCHILADA in the drive. The latter reared and fell while at the post, but showed good speed to the last eighth, then hung. BUSSE TRUMPET had no excuses, raced forwardly, but finished tiring. FOXSTER saved ground at the turn for home and held on fairly well. The others tired. Overweight — Enchilada, 2 pounds. TAPSTICK saved ground in the stretch and outgamed KNEE ACTION. The latter had no excuses.
