C. H. AINSWORTH RETIRING LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 9.— Due to ill health, Charles H. Ainsworth, who raced his horses under the nom de course of the Valley Grey Stable, is retiring from the owners ranks and today sold Miss Bull Dog, Total Eclipse and Germanicus to his daughter, Mrs. Peggy Ainsworth Townsend. Mrs. Townsend has engaged J. W. Murphy to train the trio. Trainer Murphy will take the Townsend horses, eight head for J. O. Keene and two for the Green Lawn Stable to Detroit at the close of the current meeting.
