New England Notes NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket. R. I., April 30. The Beezley-Cohen stable, which includes the Roger Williams Handicap winner, Grasshopper II., will ship to Detroit at the conclusion of the Narragansett meeting. Beezley returns here for the summer meeting. He will name Grasshopper II. for the 5,000 added Narragansett Special. Steward Sam Nuckols says that Silver-dale, sire of the highly regarded two-year-old, Centredale, which won his first start here recently, was one of the most magnificent horses in appearance he ever saw step on a race track. The string that Miss C. P. Amodie has been campaigning at Narragansett Park will race under the nom de course of the White Star Stable for the remainder of the New England season. Lawrence Barker has a penchant for spelling backwards when naming two-year-olds. His Swen is "news" spelled backwards. Rekrab is Barkers own name spelled backwards. Eddie Seremba arrived from Florida and bflg Ijggn appointed agent for the stable of Jim Boaen. Seremba ttiH algo, make the I engagements for jockey C. Rollins. H. C. "Billiken" Wolfe states that he will bring Charles B. Goochs Rodes K. on from Kentucky for the summer meeting at Narragansett. Morris Dixon arrived from Uniontown, Pa., with nine horses, many of them intended for campaigning through the field. Jockey Willie Dennis has severed his connections with the Sam Orr stable.
