Illinois Notes SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, HI., April 30. Trainer Thairman Wolfe, who trains for several different owners, checked his stable in Wednesday afternoon. The stable consists of Parted Waters, Fine Broom, Dinah Flag, First Rambler, Doorman, Orlando Girl and Glenderson. The horses are stabled at Washington Park. Owner and trainer Wayne B. Stucki received word from Carroll, Iowa, that his wife gave birth to a boy. Stucki reports that both the baby and mother are doing nicely. Ivan Parke, well-known owner of a large stable here, was rushed to the Garfield Park Hospital Wednesday. Parke was reported to be suffering from stomach trouble. Jockey Elmer Fator stopped over here for a few days en route to Beulah Park at Columbus, Ohio. Fator came here from California. E. J. OConnell, a former trainer and who is now representing the Hartford Horsemens Insurance Company, was an arrival here Wednesday from Louisville, Ky. Mrs. Walter Burke shipped in the two-year-old colt, Arrive on Time, from Kentucky. The colt is being trained by B. M. Rosenheim. Tea Ring was withdrawn from the eighth race Thursday when he developed a high fever. Jay Bird, the property of J. H. Murphy, was unloaded here from New Orleans. Murphy trains his own horses.
