FitzGerald Due at Gansett PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 30.— Judge Christopher FitzGerald, one of Americas foremost officials, will visit his son, Chris FitzGerald, Jr., who is serving as clerk of the scales at Narragansett, over the weekend. Judge FitzGerald retired from racing a year ago, to write his memoirs. His last important post was that of presiding steward at Santa Anita Park. In his younger days, Judge FitzGerald was one of the outstanding turf writers of the country. He operated a bloodstock agency which was responsible for importing some of the finest blood of England and the continent to the United States The Judge has been an official at many of the countrys leading race courses during the past 30 years.
