The latter was sent into command at the start, was taken under restraint when outrun, saved ground and finished well. SWEET REPOSE finished well under urging. BULRUSHES was blocked early. SHOTWICK showed an even effort throuehout. WHITE FORD raced well. LIBERTY ITE could not keep up. DARING had no mishaps. REAL MAN was slow to begin. RICHARD W had a flash of early speed. DUSTY MAN had no mishaps. KENNEBIS was slow to begin. GHOST LIGHT was outrun. REDOUBLED dropped back after the break. FEROCITY was steered to the outside of the leaders entering the stretch and closed fast. WISE HOBBY saved much ground entering the stretch and closed fast. FLY THE COOP had early speed. ALNED closed fast. THE THANE showed an even effort. ROMAN HERO could not keep up. FAUST II. was never a factor. SUNGINO was slow to begin. CLASSIC BEAUTY faltered entering the stretch. PORT ALIBI had no mishaps. STEVADA had no mishaps. BOUNCALONG dropped back after the start. Won easily ; second and third the same. OKELLY was under steady restraint the first turn of the field and moved up when urged to assume command, then finished with speed in reserve. SIR BLUESTEEL was under snug restraint early while back of the pace, moved up and made a bad landing at the tenth fence, but easily outfinished KNIGHTS QUEST. The latter, a prominent factor from the start, assumed command in the stretch, but could not stall off the rush of the winner. BEN GRAY showed speed throughout while saving ground. YANKEE DANDY was well up from the start and, entering the stretch, came to the outside and, under urging, wore down CORYDON in the final drive. The latter was sent up with a rush to assume command entering the stretch and held on with good courage to the end. LOVEDAY, on the inside, made up ground and finished well. PAPERBOY forced the pace from the start and had no mishaps. DANCING ARCHIE finished well. SPANISH DUKE was never a factor. LORD KITCHENER was outrun. NAVAL RESERVE quit badly in the stretch run. The latter was taken under restraint when outrun, moved up in the stretch and finished well. GALLANT ROBIN was a prominent factor throughout and had no mishaps. BALLYARNETT was unable to menace the leaders at the end. WHISCENDENT was unable to improve his position. QUEENS NAVY had early speed. WOODVALE QUEEN broke slowly. SMART was never a factor. TRAFFIC RUSH had no mishaps. RETINUE was outrun. QUESTION MAN had no speed. FIVE O EIGHT was never a factor. NESTONIAN went lame rounding the stretch turn. STROLLING IN was sent into command at the start and was rated along to the stretch turn, where she responded to urging and out-finished MARK. The latter was sent up with a rush rounding the stretch turn, made a determined bid in the stretch and then hung. HAPPY HUNTING, well up all the way, was sent around the leaders in the stretch and then in the final sixteenth was steered to the inside. INCONCEIVABLE, from a slow start, finished fast. ROMANIC was closed up and had no mishaps. KEY MAN was never a dangerous factor ROMAN GOVERNOR had no mishaps. RESOLUTE II. was outrun.
